Runes

Runes are skill enhancers that are unlocked after the first Reincarnation. Under the "Runes" tab, you have the option to pick 1 rune to use with every skill. Most runes take effect at the same time as the skill in the same slot (unless written otherwise), and take effect for a certain amount of time depending on the rune level. The effect of runes can vary from extra damage to extra XP and even save you from game death!

Runes have three levels. The first level is green, second blue and third purple. They are unlocked by getting specific pets to levels 40, 80 and 100 respectively, so be ready to grind for those purple runes. Runes do not add to power, thus they do not affect the opponents that are chosen in PVP.

Examples of good offensive runes are:

  • Asthayi - Very crucial for R2. Allow you to attack multiple opponents or buff your whole team. Get grade III version as soon as possible.
  • Vald - Debuff enemy and buff yourself
  • Adamzat - Increase damage especially for R2
  • Flamma - Add more damage
  • Opari - Good for Eddga / Speed burst build

Examples of good defensive runes are:

  • Enkeli - Nice heal with berserk
  • Kuura - SP regen
  • Taika - Uninterruptible cast

A guide to runes and how to unlock them[1]

Runes can be obtained by getting pets to specific levels or using a treasure map. When Treasure Map(Rune) is used, the player can receive any rune they have not already unlocked; ie: Aires Rune I. Therefore, it is recommended to save them for use after unlocking several runes. NOTES: the ones with chinese names beside them are upcoming along with new pets. The names are subject to change with international release. It is very recommended to get your Haere runes before this update.
